Lena’s top pick is the Scribl Book – Mini Centre Sewn with Smooth Cardboard and Lined Paper. This notebook has a lot of creative options that you can specifically tailor when it’s ordered. The paper is available in lined, dotted or blank. While the shape, centre sew and colour can be made to your liking. The unique thing about this notebook is that it is Canadian made and sourced responsibly.

Matthew Kirsh picked a tech item that mixes power and design. His product of choice is the Octoforce Wireless Power Bank. The charger has a capacity of 8000 mAh, which is enough to charge a mobile device approximately three times. It’s also versatile in the methods it charges. With USB, USB-Type C, and wireless charging you’ll always be able to juice up. The coolest part of this wireless charger is the design. With it’s retro-cassette tape inspired look, there will definitely be a lot of compliments. 

Rachel chose the W&P Porter Mug – 12 Oz to be featured. This ceramic mug is wrapped in silicone for durability as well as insulation. The silicone gives it a nice grip that makes it feel sturdy and practical, while the ceramic provides the packing to keep drinks hot or cold. Another great tech item makes it onto the list thanks to Amy! She chose the Wireless Charger and Sterilization kit. This is a product that hasn’t been in the market for very long but has been in the works for a while. The sterilization kit acts as a charger and a disinfectant for phones or other tech devices. It is able to sterilize by using UV light. It provides another mode of use by doubling as a charger either through USB or wireless.

Ryan Lukie’s favourite product is the CamelBak RPET Pivot Belt Sling . This is not your regular fanny pack because it is one of the most sustainable bags on the market today. For instance the bag is made from 70% recycled materials and one bag roughly equates to 6 plastic water bottles. But it’s environmental efforts don’t stop there. Through a partnership with 1% For The Planet, one percent of sales of EcoSmart products such as the CamelBak sling, will be donated to nonprofits dedicated to protecting the planet.

Reading through the above selections there are two trends that are apparent in most of the picks. Technology and environmentally sustainable products came up often in this list.
