Natcon 2020 and it’s Virtual Shift to Showcase This Years Hot New Products

Natcon 2020 took place from September 16th – 17th this year. If you’re not familiar with what Natcon is, it is a nationwide trade show that showcases the newest products available to the promotional market. But things are a bit different this year. The show has been converted to a virtual experience with much to offer. Natcon 2020 provided participants with exhibits, product showcases, interactive zoom meetings, educational sessions, and over 33 booths to visit. Each booth had sales reps that you can chat with in a chat box as well as the option to download their product catalogues.

But what would Natcon be without it’s product showcases. Visiting a variety of booths and engaging in the showcases lead to the discovery of many new and useful products that have the potential to be very popular in the future. There were three main trends that were seen throughout the show. Those products were centered around technology, hygiene, and eco-consciousness. With that said, here are some products that buzzed some attention.

This is a slap-on sanitizer bracelet that can come in very handy for all sorts of workplaces. The bracelets come in different shapes like: a heart, flower, circle, oval and octagon. They are also fully customizable and you’re able to put any design on them. This item can be very useful in different settings especially when you’re working with others.

This is a product that lets you charge your phone and disinfect it simultaneously.  The item uses a UV light to disinfect your phone. Think of it as a tanning bed that kills germs on . This product can be very useful to anyone that wants to ensure that their most-used item stays clean.

Another new product from a wireless charging system. This tech product is aimed at convenience and hospitality. It’s a wireless charger that acts like a portable hub that can be taken anywhere in the designated location. It solves the problem of looking for an outlet to charge your phone. Sit anywhere you’d like and you’d still be able to charge up.

These bags are a high quality reusable snack bag that eliminates one-use plastics. The bags are BPA, latex and phthalates free, perfect to pack with children’s lunch. There are also different kinds of bags such as bowler bags, wine bags and tech sleeves. The real advantage to these bags that are dish-washer safe.

This year there is a progressive approach on how we use paper. They make anything from holiday cards to calendars and coasters. They also are able to brand the item with your logo. The innovative thing about this paper is that seeds are infused into them so they can be planted. This is a new idea on eco-friendly paper that creates a gift and a reminder of a good relationship/partnership. Gifts such as a thank you card can be planted and will turn into either a flower or a vegetable depending on the seed.

Natcon 2020 was able to provide an experience that replicates the idea of a tradeshow and turn it into a successful online event. The vendors were even better and provided ways to interact and educate people on their products. As you explore the trade show more, there were a lot of emphasis on products that catered towards tech, hygiene and the environment. Which makes sense considering where the world is at. Hopefully we can see some more innovative products at Natcon 2021 and if it has to be virtual, it will surely be a success.
